Sharing Infographics – The Two Golden Rules

There are two important rules when grabbing infographics off of the Infographics Online Directory.The first golden rule of infographic sharing is to not hotlink the images on your site to this site's server. Simply download the image to your hard drive by right clicking on it and saving the image to your own PC to be uploaded on your own webserver.Or you can also go to the source URL (below the infographic) and see if they offer an embed code, which usually looks like this:

Speaking of the source URL, this brings us to the second golden rule. Whenever you want to share infographics on your own website or blog, be sure to include the original source link (or at least where you found it).

This way, the original creator gets the credit they deserve, and you will not break any Creative Commons licensing.
