Lawrence Edward Page was born in March 1973 in Michigan, USA. He has a degree in computer engineering. While doing his dissertation for his PhD in computer science at Stanford University, he met Sergey Brin, also a Stanford PhD student. After collaborating on a research paper about a web search engine, they continued their work to develop a better and faster web search engine. With their combined efforts, it led them to found Google, Inc. in 1998. He currently has a net worth of USD 53 billion.

Born in Moscow, Russia in 1973, Sergey Mikhaylovich Brin is the co-founder of Google, along with Larry Page. He currently serves as the President of Alphabet, Inc., the parent company of Google. He has a net worth of USD 52 billion and is the 13th richest man in the world. His father is a mathematics professor and his mother is a researcher for NASA. In 1979, his family left Russia to live in the US. Brin got his undergraduate degree in computer science and mathematics from the University of Maryland. He met Larry Page at Stanford. He and Page did not see eye to eye on many issues but were intellectually compatible and became fast friends. Together, they worked on developing a search engine we now know as Google.
